Inflation and Overflow

So you’ve been playing with your slime, having a grand ole time. Enjoying the amazing scents and smells when all of a sudden your slime is acting like Dad on Thanksgiving afternoon: passed out on the Laz-E boy, top button of his jeans loosened, and looking just a little… stuffed. Here at Retro, we call that overflow or inflation. (I’ve been trying to get rid of a little overflow for years now.) When you first play with a new slime, the air gets trapped in the slime, causing it to expand. (It’s not years of Lay’s potato chips, it’s just trapped air, am I right?) Some slimes get fluffier than others. It’s genetics, you could say. Listen, it happens. All of a sudden, your slime is looking at its size six container and can’t get the zipper up. I mean lid on. Plus, when you’re done with the slime, and you want to put it away, you may not have the time to wait until your slime settles to put the lid on the container. I’ve got things to do. Reruns of Gilligan’s Island are on. Some people throw out the excess slime, but that is a minor tragedy. Others put it in plastic bags, but then you can’t get it back out easily. Retro is the only slime company that sends an overflow container with our slime. We bring the Tupperware with us to the party, hoping someone fills it with the leftovers. Because there’s nothing better than leftovers.
