Backseat Bingo is a soft, plush Cloud Cream inspired by the games that kept us entertained on long family road trips before there was a screen in every hand.

This warm brown Cloud Cream has a smooth, creamy, snow-softened texture that is easy to hold, stretch, squish, and fluff. It is denser than a traditional cloud slime, with a soft, pillowy feel and just enough texture to make it extra satisfying.

Scented in Suede Seats, Backseat Bingo has a warm, nostalgic fragrance that immediately reminds us of the interior of an old car. Brushed suede and aged leather are layered with amber, red cedar, patchouli, musk, and tonka bean for an earthy, softly masculine scent with plenty of vintage character.

Finish it with the colorful mini dice toppings and travel suitcase charm, then settle in for a long ride.

RETRO Retrospect

Before tablets, handheld games, and movies built into the back of the headrest, keeping kids entertained on a long road trip required a little more creativity.

You counted license plates. You played I Spy. You looked for certain cars, signs, cows, bridges, and anything else someone could turn into a competition.

And then there was Auto Bingo.

The Henry Ford Museum dates vintage Auto Bingo cards in its collection to the 1960s and notes that the game was one of a number of travel games that appeared during the 1950s and 1960s as family automobile trips became longer. Players watched the scenery outside the car and marked items on their bingo cards as they spotted them along the way.

It was wonderfully simple.

A bingo card. A window. And miles of highway ahead.

Of course, the real competition was usually happening in the backseat.

Someone spotted the item first. Someone insisted they had already seen it. Someone accused someone else of cheating. And sooner or later, someone in the front seat probably threatened to turn the car around.

That is the memory behind Backseat Bingo.

We gave it a cozy Cloud Cream texture, colorful dice toppings, a little travel suitcase, and our Suede Seats fragrance to bring back the feel of climbing into the family car and settling in for a long ride.

Before the backseat became a movie theater, the road itself was the entertainment.
