Frances Virginia Atlanta Tearoom was open in Atlanta from the 1920s to the 1960s. Her tearoom provided a place for women and others to dine and enjoy amazing teas and deserts. She also served lunch to over 1% of the Atlanta population! Included among her signature deserts was her sponge cake with lemon filling and drizzled in boiled icing which is our inspiration for this cupcake slime.
Chicago – Chocolate-covered Strawberries
Base slime: Chocolate-scented Cloud (some snow fallout may occur which is common with cloud slimes)
Addin clay mix: Red\brown soft clay mix
We all love chocolate and strawberries but it wasn’t until a woman named Lorraine Lorusso combined the two during the 1960s while working at a small gourmet store in Chicago that the decadent chocolate-covered strawberry was created. We wanted to offer you this decadent slime inspired by our love for chocolate-covered strawberries.
Minneapolis – Funfetti Cake
Base slime: Vanilla cake-scented Crunchy
Addin slime: Strawberry-scented
In 1989 Pillsbury decided to treat children with a new fun-filled cake, Funfetti. It is a white cake mix with multicolored sprinkled mixed into the batter. Children were excited to blow out their candles and dig into this cake full of rainbow sprinkles. We hope you enjoy our fun-filled slime as much as you enjoyed your last birthday cake.
Seattle – Caramel Macchiato Coffee
Base slime: Caramel Macchiato-scented Butter
Addin slime: Caramel-scented
The first Starbucks was opened in Seattle Washington in 1971. We were inspired to create a cupcake based on their caramel macchiato flavored coffee. Did you know that Starbuck was the name for the coffee-loving first mate in Herman Melville’s Moby Dick?
