Our Roadtrip slime cupcakes are inspired by confectionary delights from across the USA.  Included are four slime cupcakes (all different textures) named for the city that gave birth to the creation.

Each cupcake comes in three (3) parts.  The 4 oz base slime, a 2.5-ounce additional slime or clay to mix in to make the perfect cupcake, and a bag of sprinkle toppings to show off your decorating abilities.  You end up with four – 6.5 ounces of different textured slime.  That’s 26 ounces of slime in total!

Atlanta – Lemon Sponge Cake

Base slime: Lemon sponge cake-scented Thick & glossy
Addin slime: Lemon-scented Jelly

Frances Virginia Atlanta Tearoom was open in Atlanta from the 1920s to the 1960s.  Her tearoom provided a place for women and others to dine and enjoy amazing teas and deserts.  She also served lunch to over 1% of the Atlanta population!  Included among her signature deserts was her sponge cake with lemon filling and drizzled in boiled icing which is our inspiration for this cupcake slime.

Chicago – Chocolate-covered Strawberries

Base slime: Chocolate-scented Cloud (some snow fallout may occur which is common with cloud slimes)
Addin clay mix: Red\brown soft clay mix

We all love chocolate and strawberries but it wasn’t until a woman named Lorraine Lorusso combined the two during the 1960s while working at a small gourmet store in Chicago that the decadent chocolate-covered strawberry was created.  We wanted to offer you this decadent slime inspired by our love for chocolate-covered strawberries.

Minneapolis – Funfetti Cake

Base slime: Vanilla cake-scented Crunchy
Addin slime: Strawberry-scented

In 1989 Pillsbury decided to treat children with a new fun-filled cake, Funfetti.  It is a white cake mix with multicolored sprinkled mixed into the batter.  Children were excited to blow out their candles and dig into this cake full of rainbow sprinkles.  We hope you enjoy our fun-filled slime as much as you enjoyed your last birthday cake.

Seattle – Caramel Macchiato Coffee

Base slime: Caramel Macchiato-scented Butter
Addin slime: Caramel-scented

The first Starbucks was opened in Seattle Washington in 1971.  We were inspired to create a cupcake based on their caramel macchiato flavored coffee.  Did you know that Starbuck was the name for the coffee-loving first mate in Herman Melville’s Moby Dick?

My number one favorite was Atlanta. It has the sweetest lemon scent that reminds me of my favorite lemon cookies. The slime mixes into a great holdable slime that has wonderful pops and stretches. Chicago is also another holdable slime although it is a cloud so there is some fallout. The scent of chocolate and cherries together, yum! Minneapolis is a trip back to the 60’s for sure. This slime has a sweet scent that reminds me of walking into my favorite bakery. Seattle was my second favorite. Oh, that scent of caramel Macchiato. It is a butter slime and holdable. I would highly recommend buying Road Trip plus with four different slimes you can share with other or keep all for yourself, like I did.
