Before You Play: Start with Clean Hands
Slime loves clean hands.
Before and after play, wash your hands with soap and water. Clean hands help keep your slime fresh longer and can help prevent dirt, oils, crumbs, and mystery fuzz from sneaking into the container.
Retro Reminder: Slime is not food, so keep it away from mouths, eyes, hair, pets, carpet, clothing, furniture, and any surface that might stain.
How to Store Your Slime
When playtime is over, pop your slime back into its container and close the lid tightly.
Slime can dry out when left open, and nobody wants a crusty comeback tour. Keep it sealed when you are not playing with it, and store it in a cool, room-temperature spot.
Avoid leaving slime:
in a hot car
in direct sunlight
near heaters
outside in warm weather
open on a table overnight

Slime Fixes
My Slime Is Sticky!
Sticky slime is common, especially after shipping, warm weather, or lots of play. It just means your slime needs a little activator.
How to Fix Sticky Slime
Spray or add a small amount of activator.
Knead slowly.
Add more only if needed.
Go easy! A little activator can go a long way. Adding too much too quickly can make slime stiff or rubbery.
Retro Tip: Add activator like you are adding seasoning — small amounts, mix, then decide if it needs more.
My Slime Melted!
Slime can melt for lots of reasons, including warm weather, shipping temperatures, or sitting over time. Melted slime usually looks extra sticky, loose, or soupy.
How to Fix Melted Slime
Add activator slowly.
Knead until the slime starts to come together.
Let it rest for a few minutes if needed.
Repeat in small amounts until it feels right.
Please do not dump in a ton of activator at once. Slime likes patience, not panic.
My Slime Is Too Stiff!
If your slime feels tough, rubbery, or hard to stretch, it may be overactivated or cold.
How to Fix Stiff Slime
Let it warm up in your hands for a few minutes.
Stretch and knead slowly.
Add a few drops of softener if needed.
Mix well before adding more.
Softener should be added slowly. You can always add more, but you cannot easily take it back out.
My Slime Is Cold or Hard from Shipping!
During colder months, slime may arrive firmer than usual. That does not mean anything is wrong — it may just need time to warm up.
Let the slime sit at room temperature before playing. Once it warms up, knead it slowly and give it a few minutes to relax.
Think of it like waking up from a nap. It needs a second.
My Slime Is Shrinking!
Slime naturally shrinks over time with play. This can happen when slime dries out, when small pieces get left behind during play, or when air gets into the container.
To help your slime last longer:
keep it sealed when not in use
avoid playing with dirty hands
do not leave it sitting out
store it away from heat and sunlight

My Clear Slime Is Foggy!
Clear slime may become foggy after play because of tiny air bubbles from stretching, poking, and squishing. Totally normal!
Let it sit sealed in its container for a few days, and it may clear back up on its own.
Retro Tip: Clear slime likes a little rest between shows.
My Slime Has Fallout!
Some slimes include beads, foam, charms, sprinkles, glitter, or other add-ins. Depending on the texture, a little fallout can happen during play.
To reduce fallout:
play over a clean surface
stretch slowly
avoid ripping or pulling too aggressively
press add-ins back into the slime as you play
Some textures are meant to be crunchy, packed, or extra full, so a little fallout can be part of the experience.
Activator 101
Activator helps sticky or melted slime come back together.
Use it when slime feels:
too sticky
too loose
melted
hard to pick up
too wet or goopy
Add a little, knead, and repeat only if needed.
Do not overdo it. Too much activator can make slime stiff.
Softener 101
Softener helps slime that feels too stiff, tight, rubbery, or hard to stretch.
Use it when slime feels:
too firm
overactivated
rubbery
hard to pull
not stretchy enough
Add just a few drops, knead well, and give it time to work.
