Motor Court is a soft, fluffy Cloud slime with a separate 2.5 oz clear topper, inspired by the colorful roadside motels that once dotted America’s highways.

The powder blue Cloud base is light, airy, and snow-soft with that satisfying pull-apart texture Cloud lovers look for. Play with it on its own for soft stretches and fluffy folds, then add the clear topper when you are ready to change things up.

The separate clear slime is filled with a dreamy mix of pastel and iridescent toppings, plus a retro television charm that looks right at home in a roadside room from another era. Enjoy the two textures separately first, or mix the clear slime into the Cloud for your own finished Motor Court creation.

Scented in Fresh Linens, Motor Court has that wonderfully clean feeling of walking into a freshly prepared room after a long day on the road. Crisp greens and orange zest brighten the fragrance, followed by soft orchid vanilla, jasmine, rosewood, and violet. Sandalwood and musk give it a warm, comfortable finish.

It smells fresh, clean, and comforting, exactly the kind of room you would hope to find when the VACANCY sign finally appeared.

RETRO Retrospect

Before interstate exits were lined with familiar hotel chains, American road trips had a different kind of overnight stop.

The motor court.

As automobile travel became more popular during the 1920s and 1930s, travelers needed lodging that worked for people arriving by car. Traditional downtown hotels were not always convenient, so tourist camps, cottage courts, and eventually motor courts began appearing along highways and at the edges of towns. The National Park Service notes that these auto-friendly accommodations developed specifically in response to the growth of recreational automobile travel.

A classic motor court was built around the automobile. Rooms were often arranged so travelers could park close to their door, unload the suitcases, and settle in for the night without hauling everything through a hotel lobby. Many were independently owned, and their colorful signs, unusual architecture, and roadside personalities became part of the journey itself.

You watched the roadside signs as the miles went by.

Then someone finally said, “That one looks good.”

The car pulled in, the luggage came out, and for one night that little roadside room became home.

That is the memory behind Motor Court.
