Fill ’Er Up! is a slick, glossy Coated Clear slime inspired by the roadside service stations that once made filling the tank part of the road-trip experience.

The coated clear base is pigmented black with an iridescent blue and green shift that changes as the slime moves and catches the light. Depending on the angle, you may see flashes of deep blue, teal, and green moving across the dark base.

Our Coated Clear texture has the glassy appearance and satisfying stretch of a clear slime with a coated finish designed to reduce tack. Stretch it slowly, fold it, and work in plenty of air for crisp pops, bubbles, and glossy folds.

Then there is the scent.

High Octane is not fruity, floral, or bakery sweet. It is an intentionally realistic gasoline-inspired fragrance with metallic octane notes, a smooth gasoline accord, and a musky finish. If you are one of those people who has always secretly liked the smell at the gas pump, this one was made with you in mind.

Top Fill ’Er Up! with the included traffic cone charm and our handmade Firmasof® tire charms. Each Firmasof® tire is handmade by Retro Slime Company, so the size and appearance may vary slightly from one slime to another.

Because Coated Clear requires a little more controlled handling than our beginner textures, Fill ’Er Up! is rated Advanced.

RETRO Retrospect

There was a time when pulling into a gas station meant you did not even have to get out of the car.

You pulled up to the pump, rolled down the window, and an attendant came to you. While the tank was being filled, a full-service station might also clean your windshield, check the oil, check the tires, and help get you ready for the next stretch of highway.

And somewhere in the middle of all that service came a phrase generations of drivers knew well:

“Fill ’er up!”

Gas stations became part of the American road-trip landscape. They were places to fuel the car, check the map, ask for directions, stretch your legs, and figure out just how much farther you had to go.

Long before tapping a credit card at the pump or letting a navigation app tell you where the next gas station was, a roadside service station could be an important stop along the journey.

That roadside ritual inspired Fill ’Er Up!

We gave it a glossy black Coated Clear base with an iridescent blue and green shift, a wonderfully unusual High Octane gasoline-inspired fragrance, a traffic cone, and our handmade Firmasof® tires for a slime that feels right at home alongside the maps, motels, roadside games, and open highways of our Retro Road Trip.
