Texas Homecoming combines two seriously satisfying textures in one slime inspired by a tradition that is unmistakably Texas.

The main slime is our Ground Pumice texture in a soft sage green, with a dense, fine-grained feel and wonderfully gritty crunch. A separate 2.5 oz clear block crunch slime adds another layer of crispy texture with hard block beads suspended in clear slime. Play with the two textures separately or combine them for an even more complex, ultra-crunchy experience.

Because Texas Homecoming includes both ground pumice and a hard-inclusion clear slime, we rate it Advanced. This one is best for experienced slimers who enjoy highly textured slimes, slower stretching, squeezing, and table play. The inclusions may feel rough or pokey to sensitive hands, and some fallout may occur with crunchy textures.

Scented in Homecoming Night, this fresh, polished fragrance opens with bright bergamot and lemon accented by a touch of tarragon. Soft geranium and rose add a subtle floral layer before earthy vetiver and cedarwood create a smooth, grounded finish. RETRO Retrospect

For the owner of Retro Slime Company, Texas Homecoming isn’t just a theme—it’s a memory.

She grew up in Texas and was a teenager there during the 1980s, when fall meant football games, pep rallies, school spirit, Friday-night stadium lights, and one tradition Texans know especially well: the homecoming mum.

Homecoming mums began as much simpler chrysanthemum corsages and, over the years, grew into the elaborate creations Texas students wear today. Ribbons, school colors, bells, braids, charms, names, mascots, footballs—you could tell a whole story with a mum.

And yes, our owner wore them too.

For a Texas teenager, getting your homecoming mum, pinning it on, and heading to the game was simply part of homecoming. Long before today’s mums became enormous, highly decorated creations, they were already a treasured part of the tradition.

Texas Homecoming is our rewind back to those fall nights: the sound of the marching band, football under the stadium lights, school colors everywhere, and a homecoming mum hanging proudly from your shoulder.
