RETRO Retrospect

Banana pudding is a popular and well-loved family dessert.  The first desserts were a spin-off of the traditional English dessert made with custard, fruit, and sponge cake.  In 1921, Mrs. Laura Kerley contributed a recipe to a local newspaper in Bloomington, Illinois for a banana pudding consisting of custard, a half-dozen sliced bananas, and one pound of vanilla wafers.  The National Biscuit Company took advantage of banana pudding’s growing popularity and started printing a recipe for the dessert on Vanilla Wafers boxes in the 1940s.  Is this one of your favorite iconic desserts or would you rather just munch on a bunch of “Nilla Wafers?”

    Super nice bananas and vanilla smell! Hadn’t tried this specific texture yet so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but it’s a really thick and soft slime, almost creamy.

    I am now reordering this slime because I love it so much. The smell is incredible, the texture when you first get it is the best thing ever, I couldn’t put it down. My ONLY complaint is that it got hard much faster than other thick slimes.

    Packaging is amazing. I love Retro Slimes SO much. ** bonus points for having M*A*S*H themed slimes.. like whaaattt?!

    Amazing slime! I will say, I added the softener and the yummy banana smell went completely out the window and was replaced by a not so pleasant smell… the customer service was amazing after I had some difficulties! The bubble pops are endless and the creamy texture is everything! I did order 2 slimes which both inflated but it only came with one container for overflow so I had to put this banana slime in my own container. Other then that, AMAZING!! If your thinking about buying this one, definitely do! I will be purchasing more slime from this company!!

    This texture is AMAZING !!! It is thick, yet stretchy, the bubble pops are endless. It’s really creamy and has a great banana scent. Highly, highly recommend this one, it has everything, you can’t go wrong ! Tysm Retro 💛🍌
