Hurricane parties became popular before WW II because although predicting the landfall sites for hurricanes was more accurate, the highway system did not allow for mass evacuations.  People in the path of the storm would hunker down and party at the safest-built house.  Margaritas are a fan favorite at most hurricane parties!

    My Jelly one was very sticky and I couldn’t get the texture right trying to fix it but I absolutely loved the charm and smell. It was hot when I ordered this so I think that had something to do with the texture
